What's the best sunscreen for young skin?

Hey i'm nearly 18 and have recently decided to take more care of my skin. I try to drink plenty of water, fish oils, less sugary foods, milk, meats, protein, fruits and nuts daily. I cleanse/tone/moisturize with simple products.

However, i never use SPF.

I have extremly dry and pale skin, and the the SPF I own is too oily and takes forever to soak in.

I need suggestions on a really good SPF 50+. Help please

You do not need to wear SPF 50 as it is only like 3 percent more effective than SPF 15 and anything over a 30 is going to be pretty thick/greasy. Try Clinique City Block Sheer $17.50 which is oil-free and comes in a 25 and 40 or my personal favorite: Superdefense SPF 25 $42.50 moisturizer which was reformulated to be super light and non-greasy yet effective. This comes in three formulas dry, dry combination, oily (based on skin type) so get skin typed first to get the right one.

What to Look For in Paraben Free Facial Moisturizers and Hand Creams?

There are wonderful paraben free facial moisturizers on the market, but some of them aren't that great. The same is true for paraben free hand cream.

In response to the call for paraben free facial moisturizers and other products, some companies jumped on board by changing the artificial preservative that they use in their products. What we really wanted was products free of artificial preservatives.

Synthetic preservatives have been show to cause respiratory and other health problems. They are the most common cause of allergic and adverse reactions in skincare products and they are totally unnecessary.

Yes, natural oils need to be processed correctly and natural preservatives need to be added to prevent their rancidity. Using a rancid essential oil can cause a serious infection. Look for Antioxidants

A paraben free hand cream should contain natural vitamin E, as I mentioned above, but other antioxidants are also important. You see, antioxidants are our natural defense against free radical damage, which is responsible for skin-cancer, wrinkling and an aged appearance.

The best paraben free hand cream contains coenzyme Q10 and manuka honey. COQ10 levels are quickly depleted when the skin is exposed to UV radiation from the sun. Your hands are exposed to sunlight more often than any other part of your body. The paraben free facial moisturizers for nighttime also contain manuka honey and coq10, because they repair damage done during the day.

A paraben free hand cream should also contain vitamin B5, because it provides natural protection against sunburn. Other ingredients are just as important, including olive oil, jojoba and grape seed.

By the same token, there are many other ingredients to avoid, including petrolatum, paraffin and mineral oil. The use of these ingredients is supposed to moisturize, but they do not penetrate and eventually cause excessive dryness.
