Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel and Cetaphil... Can you suggest a good exfoliator?

Do they work well together, I'm also going to get the Clinique City Block Sheer Oil-Free Daily face protector SPF 25.
&& at night I'm just going to use Cetaphil and BenzaClin.
So my whole routine will be
Morning: Wash with Cetaphil Gentle Face Cleanser, Moisturize with Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel, Protect with Clinique City Block Sheer Oil-Free Free Daily Face Protector

Night: Wash with Cetaphil, use BenzaClin on acne,

Can you suggest a good exfoliator (Not St. Ive's Apricot Scrub please)

Clinique used to make a exfoliator years ago called 7-Day Scrub. I used to use it all the time. They definately have the best products. I would check and see if they still make it or something similar.

Facial Sunblock

Virtually of us apply some form of facial sunblock in the summer. Particularly those of us that are fair skinned like me. We put globs of it on to prevent getting sunburn. But what about the fall? Or winter? Does anyone use facial sunblock during other seasons? Probably not. Why? Possibly because we've been programmed to use it only during hot days.

In as little as 15 minutes your skin can get burnt by the sun. This might take longer during other seasons, but could occur. And while you might not get burnt, eventually your skin will look older and lose that youngish look.

It's a fact that your skin is the largest organ and needs to be looked after, mainly your face. How do we protect it you ask? By applying facial sunblock.

So what is sunblock? Sunblock is a lotion that physically blocks the suns ray, mostly UVB and UVA. Facial sunblock contains two chemicals, zinc oxide and titanium oxide that prevent the sun's rays. So dig out your suntan lotion bottle and read the label. If you see titanium oxide and zinc oxide, then you've got sunblock.

Sunblock comes in a variety of forms from creams, gels, spray on, sticks etc. I think lotions would be the most popular type of facial sunblock. You can use spray on types but be extra careful not to spray close to your eyes. The spray can breifly sting if you accidentally get it in your eye. If you have young children you'll probably want to use those stick type of sun block. It provides you with more control when applying and it does not run. Whatever kind of facial sunblock you pick out, try it on a small area first or better yet see a dermatologist if you know you have sensitive skin.

If you don't know how to apply facial sunblock, here's a quick course. Try to apply sunblock about a half hour before going in the sun. Use a liberal amount, spread it evenly, and don't forget the back of your neck and ears. You'll want to let your skin absorb the lotion then reapply every 2 hours. The activities you do will also dictate how often you should reapply, like if you sweat, or swim.

Facial sunblock as well as other sunblock and sunscreen come with an SPF (sun protection factor) rating. You use the SPF number as follows:

If you start getting sunburn in 20 minutes without lotion, using facial sunblock SPF 30 will allow you 600 minutes or 10 hours of protection before you start to burn (20 X 30 = 600). That's all nice in theory, however, the testing is done indoors in a lab and does not take into account, heat, wind, skin type etc. However, it will give you an idea of how long you can be in the sun before getting a sun burn.
