Gel nails and tanning?
Do gel nails turn yellow if you tan? I have a big problem. If they anyone have any tips for to cover them while tanning?
well especially if you have a majorly French it discolors the sun but it wears out it should not yellow with them. I will talk to your nails women to see what he puts them or get a top coat with SPF in it. that my opioion.
Is Fake Tan A Safe Tan?
Ultra violet free tanning or self tanning which is also known as sunless tanning is a process where chemicals are applied to the skin to produce a result similar in appearance to a conventional suntan. This process is known as fake tan. During the 1960s, it was discovered with a link between skin cancer and exposure to sunlight resulting in the growth of fake tan.
Dihydroxyaceton (DHA) is the dynamic part of sunless or self tanning lotions available in the market. DHA is not a paint or stain or a dye that produces a tan. The chemical reaction between DHA and amino acids in dead layer on the skin causes the skin to brown. The chemical reaction is similar to the browning process during food manufacturing processes. Fake tan acquired using a self or sunless tanning lotions are not involved in any pigmentation of the skin and no need for exposure to ultra violet rays. The chemical reaction obtained using the DHA is not toxic and does not damage the skin. This is not cause any damage to the skin where exposure to UV sometimes causes damage to it. The fake brown is a very short term impact and change gradually over time in a week.
In some people the chemical Dihydroxyacetone the sunless tanning lotion can cause skin problems so it is better to apply lotion to a small patch of skin. If no adverse skin reaction was noticed within 24 hours it will apply to all over the body to get a fake tan.
By using a variety of sunless tanning products in the form of sprays, wipes, mousses, gels or lotions, a fake tan can be obtained at home. To get the best results, apply the sunless tan lotion to dry and clean skin. Until the product is fully absorbed it is not advisable to take a bath or go swimming. Within a six hours the product usually gets absorbed through the skin. Since thick skin on feet and hands absorbs more DHA is required to either skip the area or clean the area immediately after of applying a sunless tan lotion.
Since we get what we pay for, it is necessary to use a brand of brown if which is considered safe and which acquired a reputation among the users. St Tropez is known to be favorite among Hollywood stars and other celebrities. Fak, Clinque, clarins some other popular and luxury brand of fake tan products.
